Health studies can be demanding. Engaging in a relaxing activity is recommended to help maintain your well-being. Doing this regularly will help you cope better with stress. The two apps below (available for free download on Google Play or the Apple App Store) offer meditation, relaxation, and cardiac coherence exercises to do daily to better manage stress. They are suitable for everyone. Both apps were developed with the help of experts in the field (Petit Bambou was supported by Dr. Christophe André). They are recommended by many mental health professionals.
We recommend doing one of the suggested exercises every day, which takes about 10 minutes a day.
MEDITATION APPS
MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
RELAXATION
The Petit Bambou app offers mindfulness meditations. It includes 8 free meditations. It is designed for both beginners and experts in mindfulness meditation, with different difficulty levels.
Developed with the help of Dr. David O’Hare, this app offers breathing exercises designed to help manage anxiety. It is based on the cardiac coherence technique, which involves controlling the duration of inhalation and exhalation in time with a bubble on the app. There are numerous customization options available (session duration, inhalation/exhalation times, etc.).
