As a reminder, the re-registration platform is not working:
- from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m,
- from a tablet,
- from a smartphone.
Please note that it may take some time for all re-registrations to be processed.
Once your application has been checked and approved by the Registrar's Office, you will be able to download your school certificate and the receipt of fees 2024/2025, from your ENT.
Registration AUTOMATICALLY validates your ENT (no more computer passport). You don't need to do a thing.
REMINDER: ENT login = your institutional address (prenom.nom@etu.umontpellier.fr).

The Residents' Office has no information beyond that displayed in the link above.
You have already defended your thesis and completed your internship. We will send the 2 certificates of achievement (Doctor of Medicine + DES) jointly to the Medical Council of your choice. Please let us know by e-mail which Medical Council is concerned:
Sending your certificates of achievement directly to the Conseil de l'Ordre by e-mail saves time and avoids tedious authentication.
Certificates of achievement will be sent to CDOM in April or October. The date of issue specified on the certificate of achievement will be that of the end of your internship.
The validity of these certificates is recognized in France. The Conseil de l'Ordre des Médecins accepts them in support of applications for registration submitted by new doctors, pending production of the definitive diploma at a later date. Abroad, its value is often contested. At the request of the interested party, the Interns' Office can issue a certificate specifying the legal value of this attestation, which is to be given to the authorities of the country requiring it.
Final diplomas will be issued six months to a year after the defense, on request only. upon request. The availability of diplomas will be indicated in the INFORMATION section of the website.
FST / OPTIONS
During the third cycle, a student may be authorized to take an option or a specialized cross-disciplinary course.
Specialized diploma outlines specify the options for which students are authorized to enroll. Access to options and cross-disciplinary specialized training is based on the student's professional project.
The intern follows the option or transversal specialized training for which he/she has been authorized to register in the academic year for which the position has been opened.

The final enrolment decision is made by the Dean on the basis of these rankings and the annual order specifying the number of positions for each course.
The decision is sent to the intern, by e-mail, by the end of June at the latest.
Registration takes effect at the start of the following academic year.

AGREEMENTS
Regulations: amended order of April 12, 2017 on the organization of the third cycle of medical studies - Section 2 - Articles 32 to 40-1
Accreditation attests to the training character of the training site or the university practitioner-master of training, as provided for in the training curricula, for post-graduate students enrolled in the specialties, options and cross-disciplinary specialized training for which it is granted.
- principal approval for the specialty in which the medical supervisor of the internship site or the university practitioner-in-charge of internships is qualified, or for which he or she holds the corresponding diploma of complementary specialized studies in medicine, or for which he or she has sufficient experience in his or her practice and in supervising students, as assessed by the subdivision commission convened for approval purposes. All main approvals are proposed by the subdivision committee convened for the purpose of approval, on the basis of an initial application or application for renewal of approval, the composition of which is set out in article 35 of this decree;
- additional accreditation for one or more other specialties for which the training site or the university internship supervisor is recognized as a trainer. This recognition is pronounced by the subdivision commission meeting in its accreditation formation when it examines the application for principal accreditation of the training site or of the university training master practitioner, or subsequently and for the remaining duration of the accreditation;
- functional approval for an option or one or more specialized cross-disciplinary training courses for which the training site or the university practitioner is recognized as a trainer. This recognition is pronounced at any time by the subdivision commission meeting in its accreditation formation when it examines either the application file for principal or complementary accreditation, where applicable, of the training site or the university practitioner-in-charge of training, or the application file for functional accreditation in the absence of an application file for principal or complementary accreditation and in accordance with the procedures set out in article 35 of this decree.

The Montpellier "incoming" out-of-region internship commission, coordinated by Montpellier University Hospital, meets twice a year: in January(for the May semester) and in July(for the November semester).
THEMES
RESEARCH YEAR
Reference: Order of October 4, 2006 defining the organization of the research year during the third cycle of medical, dental and pharmacy studies.
The aim of the research year is to give certain interns a solid grounding in research. To achieve this, the project must be part of an immersion in the world of research, preferably different from routine clinical work and PHRC-type research projects already well-funded by other credits. It can be written in French or English.
The Commission will meet on July 1, 2025.
