University Diploma and Inter-University Diploma

Through its institutional degree programs, the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine offers a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum.

The range of courses offered continues to expand in terms of the fields, specializations, and disciplines included in these degree programs.

Designed primarily for healthcare professionals but also for medical students, these programs focus on deepening and specializing knowledge with the goal of working toward continuous improvement in the quality and safety of care.

Awarding of the diploma

Institutional diplomas are awarded in the year following graduation, typically in the spring.

Each university diploma (DU), inter-university diploma (DIU), short course, and micro-certification has its own assessment procedures.

Internship Agreement for Students Enrolled in a University Diploma (DU) or Inter-University Diploma (DIU) Program or a Medical Residency Program

If you are required to complete an internship as part of your enrollment in a continuing education program leading to a University Diploma (DU) or Inter-University Diploma (DIU) or a Certificate of Medical Competence, you MUST complete an internship agreement.

This agreement serves as the legal framework for the internship; it outlines the obligations of each party and must be signed by all three parties: the host organization, the intern, and the university.

The internship must take place BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 1 and AUGUST 31.

To edit your agreement, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Fill out the agreement online; it is available on MOODLE in your digital workspace
  2. Have the host organization and yourself sign the agreement
  3. Upload the signed agreement to your DEVOIR space on MOODLE at least 15 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE INTERNSHIP:

Once the agreement has been approved and signed by the Dean, a copy will be uploaded to your DEVOIR (MOODLE) account.

Important:

If your internship takes place over several periods during the academic year in which you are enrolledandat the same organization, these internship periods may be combined intoa single agreement.

If you are doing an internship at a healthcare facility, you will be required to present your health pass. The host organization will check your pass upon your arrival.

All fields are REQUIRED. Any incomplete form will be returned and will not be approved.
