THE MAGIC OF PEYROU

DECEMBER 5, 2020 – ESPLANADE DU PEYROU

In December 2020, the city of Montpellier set up a Covid-safe Christmas village to lift the spirits of its residents. Ten magical chalets were on site, allowing Montpellier residents and visitors to travel and enjoy the polar-themed decorations and the magic of Christmas.

  • A CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

From December 5 to 7, 2020, the Esplanade du Peyrou will host a Christmas village.

Due to the health crisis, several winter festivities had to be canceled, such as the traditional Christmas market. To bring some cheer back to this somewhat sad period, the city of Montpellier is offering its residents a Christmas village on the Esplanade du Peyrou.

  • A PROJECT LED BY A LOCAL COMPANY

The Listen'Up agency is responsible for producing these adorable chalets, which will warm the hearts of young and old alike!

  • A CHALET DEDICATED TO MEDICINE IN MONTPELLIER

In the year of the Faculty's 800th anniversary, Lorène Delcor, director of Listen'up, couldn't pass up this opportunity! She designed a chalet entirely dedicated to the history of medicine. For the occasion, we lent her one of our academic gowns, which will be displayed in a cabinet of curiosities animated by mischievous little raccoons!
