Early Health and Science Track

Currently offered at only three medical schools in France, the Montpellier-Nîmes School of Medicine offers a program that combines medical and scientific knowledge as part of the Rabelais Health Cluster. This program, also known as the “Rabelais Health-Science Dual Degree Program,” is described as “early-entry” because it begins in the second year of health studies (medicine, dentistry, or pharmacy). Unlike the so-called “traditional” dual degree program, the “early-entry” dual degree program includes a gap year from the health studies program to complete the M2 year in the sciences.

  • Educational Requirement : Two years of post-secondary education
  • Program duration: 3 years (M1+M2) to 6 years (if continuing on to a Ph.D.)
  • Internships: Yes
