  • STAMP UNVEILING

    The stamp was unveiled at the Montpellier Préfecture Post Office on June 15, 2020, in the presence of Gérald Chanques, the project leader; Philippe Augé, President of the UM; the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Michel Mondain, members of the 800th Anniversary Steering Committee, Stéphane Carayol of La Poste Group, Sophie Belloni-Vitou of Cabinet Fontès, and representatives of the local media.

  • FIRST-DAY STAMP

    First-day postmark applied to stamped envelopes submitted by collectors from the Montpellier Philatelic Association.

  • STAMP ON SALE FOR 1 YEAR

    The stamp was available for purchase for one year at post offices throughout France and at the Carré d’Encre store in Paris.
