She was the first woman to graduate from the Faculty of Medicine in Montpellier in 1878. Agnès McLaren devoted her life to caring for disadvantaged women and those excluded from society. It is in her memory that the Agnès McLaren Association wishes to award a thesis prize.

    Two conferences on women's health preceded the award ceremony, hosted by women involved in providing care and assistance to women in precarious situations.

  • AWARD CEREMONY

    Justine Allouche wins the 2021 Agnes McLaren Award! The prize, worth €4,000, recognizes Justine's thesis and post-thesis work on the assessment of knowledge and practices regarding cervical cancer screening among women in prostitution in the Gard and Hérault departments. Justine received congratulations from the jury for her high-quality work.
