Award Ceremony for the Tronc-Chanal Foundation Scholarship

On Friday, October 25, 2024, the Tronc-Chanal Foundation awarded its scholarship to Ms. Pauline Prost, a medical student at the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine, in the historic anatomy lecture hall.

The Tronc-Chanal Foundation, which supports medical education, awards scholarships to residents at the Montpellier-Nîmes School of Medicine whose chosen specialty requires them to relocate to a university other than their home institution. These grants are intended to encourage young doctors in their careers and academic pursuits.

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Tronc-Chanal, prominent figures from the faculty and the medical community—including Prof. Cambonie, Prof. Dagneaux, Prof. Rouanet, and Dr. Bernard Pons—as well as faculty administrative staff such as Mr. Euzet and Ms. Patricia Reboul, and Colin Azria, president of the residents’ union.

The ceremony continued in the Dugès Hall, where Pauline Prost’s family and friends enjoyed a light meal together before she left to continue her studies in Toulouse.
