Welcoming newly appointed faculty members

As they have done every year for the past three years, Dean Isabelle Laffont and her Vice Dean for Heritage, Gérald Chanques, welcome new teachers and their families for an afternoon of discovering our heritage within the historic building.

This year, Amandine LUQUIENS, Orianne VILLARD, Marie-Céline LORENZINI, Radjiv GOULABCHAND, Sophie BROUILLET, and Martha DURAES, as well as Noémie RANISAVJEVIC and Florent FUCHS for a "catch-up session," were able to wander through all the state rooms.

Now they know everything! Where the stone chair in the Theatrum Anatomicum comes from, but also how the statutes establishing the University of Medicine in 1220 make our institution "the oldest official university of medicine in the world."

Eddy Lamou had taken out the hammer and prepared coffee and snacks.

It was a lovely afternoon.
