Parent Workshop: A session organized by the tutoring program to help you support your child as they start the school year in the PASS or LAS program!

Starting the academic year in the PASS or LAS program is a major milestone for both students and their families. To provide support during this new phase, the tutoring program is pleased to offer “Tuto Parents,” an event designed specifically for the families of incoming first-year health sciences students.

This is an opportunity to discuss and reflect on this academic year, whether you’re in the PASS program or a LAS track (1, 2, or 3).
The goal is to provide support to help you better understand how this demanding year works, as well as its challenges and pace….

It also provides guidance on how parents can best support their child throughout this journey.

The Parents' Workshop can be an opportunity to ask questions about work arrangements, balancing school and family life, or managing stress during what can be a challenging year.

This event will be led by parents of students currently in their second or third year of a health-related degree program.

They’ll be there to share their experiences, advice, and stories from this past year! They’ll also be available to answer any questions you may have.

This event will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It will be held in person at the UPM amphitheater on the Arnaud de Villeneuve campus (tram stop: Occitanie), or remotely via Zoom using the following meeting ID: 962 2746 0888.

To wrap up our time together, the tutoring program is hosting a buffet so we can continue our conversations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
