Medicine Gala 2025: A Night Under the Venetian Stars

On Friday, February 21, 2025, the medical student association held its traditional gala at the Opéra Comédie in Montpellier.

What is the theme of this 36th edition? Under the Venetian stars.

In a spellbinding atmosphere inspired by the Venice Carnival, the medical students donned their finest masks and costumes for an evening filled with elegance and mystery.

This year, the orange cap was awarded to Professor Camille Roubille in recognition of her dedication to teaching and her commitment to the students of the faculty. This honorary distinction is awarded by the students themselves, who vote by writing the name of their favorite professor in a ballot box located at the Corpo. It was also awarded posthumously to Professor Pierre Fesler.

This marks the first time that two professors have been honored in the same year.

The Medley music group then got the dance floor going, hosting a memorable evening filled with camaraderie and a sense of community.

Thank you once again to all the organizations that helped make this wonderful evening a success, and especially to the entire 2024–2025 student council team, whose dedication and passion made this event a true success.

Below are a few photos from that night under the Venetian stars.
