The 25th edition of the European Photography Festival will take place from May 10 to June 1, 2025, in Montpellier.

Les Boutographies provides a space for photographers to connect, as well as an opportunity to exhibit their work, win over the Montpellier audience, and share their vision of photography with other French and European photographers.

Throughout the festival’s three weeks, you can enjoy a carefully curated program, selected from hundreds of submissions from across Europe and presented at Montpellier’s most beautiful venues.

Vanessa Chambard has three friends. They are extraordinary, and they are shepherdesses.
After spending so much time following them and taking pictures of them, she decided she wanted to go up into the mountains with the sheep herself. And that’s how she became a shepherdess.
Capturing moments of intense or fleeting joy and sorrow, his images and texts depict life in the mountains alongside sheep and dogs. These photographs are part of a larger project that will soon result in a book.
