Teknê Makrê Gallery

This is the gallery located on the garden level of the South Wing (formerly the students’ wing during the days of Saint Benoît College), behind the grand staircase in the main courtyard.

The following rooms are located from right to left (from west to east):

The Students' Dungeon: a study room, so named in contrast to another room called "the dungeon, " located on the first floor

The Teknê Macrê Galleries: storage and temporary exhibition spaces, currently closed due to construction

The Jaume Collection Rooms: work and meeting rooms for faculty and administrative staff, currently being used by the Library and Archives Department while renovations are underway. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, visitors can see two models of the historic building, one showing its original layout (14th century) and the other its current configuration.

The forensic medicine lecture hall, or “small lecture hall, which no longer resembles a lecture hall today, as it now serves as a temporary archive storage area
