  • A CONFERENCE THAT IS MORE RELEVANT THAN EVER IN TIMES OF HEALTH CRISIS

    Health and healthcare are evolving, raising ethical and societal questions.
    Topics such as the ethical challenges of predictive biotechnology, innovation in the context of a health crisis, and ethical guidelines for innovation in neuroscience will be addressed at this conference, organized in partnership with the Occitanie Regional Ethics Center.

    On the initiative of Professor Jacques Bringer, President of the Ethics Committee of the National Academy of Medicine and President of the Occitanie Ethics Forum, the symposium "Man and Science" is part of the program of festivities marking the 800th anniversary of the Montpellier Faculty of Medicine. These celebrations commemorating the history of medicine in Montpellier offer us, on this day, an opportunity to reflect on innovations and the trust placed in science.
