A look back at the Open House Days at the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine

On March 2, the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine opened its doors to high school students, college students, and parents who wanted to learn more about medical and paramedical programs.

During the day, the faculty offered a series of lectures on the different paths to health-related degree programs. From the PASS (First Year Common to Health Studies) to the LAS (Health Access License) to begin medical studies, participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the various options available to them in this field. But that's not all: the faculty also highlighted paramedical studies, presenting disciplines such as orthoptics, speech therapy, and psychomotor therapy, as well as the many master's degrees it offers.

The Tutoring Service and the ADEMOOS association took the floor to present their associations and their commitment to supporting students in their academic careers.

The enthusiasm for this event was evident in the impressive turnout, with around 2,500 visitors passing through the faculty's doors, including no fewer than 700 people who took part in the tour of the new building, divided into 30 groups. To ensure that the day ran smoothly, more than twenty members of staff from Montpellier were on hand, supported by nearly a hundred dedicated students who welcomed visitors and led tours of the building in close collaboration with teachers and staff.

This was an opportunity for prospective students and their parents to discover the many services offered by the faculty to support student success, including tutoring, documentation resources, and simulation areas.

The Open House Days at the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine gave participants a complete immersion in today's healthcare world.
