From February 19 to 23, 2024, the High School Students Week, a completely free event open to all upon registration, offered by theMontpellier Health Tutoring Association. This week aims to introduce high school students, their teachers and parents the health sciences: Medicine, Midwifery, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Nursing (MMOPKI), as well as how to access them from the PASS and LAS.

This week is taking place in online using Zoom software, with various videoconference slots available. There is a half-day in person is also planned, allowing high school students to visit the Arnaud de Villeneuve campus of the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine, as well as attend a real tutoring session in a lecture hall with PASS students.

At the end of this week: 

  • High school students high school students will learn how the Health Studies Entrance Reform works. This will enable them to make informed choices and select their training program with confidence and with a better understanding of what to expect. The PASS and LAS will no longer hold any secrets for them!
  • They will also learn about the educational guidance and moral support offered by the Tutoring Service within the faculty and will be able to benefit from them free of charge. It should be noted that the Tutoring Services support PASS students as well as LAS !
  • High school teachers high school teachers, following "Teaching Time", will be better able to guide their students in choosing their specializations and their training.
  • A methodology session offered by ATSM members is planned to help students prepare for higher education and learn how to organize and work effectively so that everything runs smoothly.
  • The parents of students will be better informed and more relaxed about their child taking their first steps in higher education, particularly in the field of health studies. A conference, the "Tuto Parents", bringing together parents of students who have successfully entered health studies and parents of high school students, is scheduled for the end of the week.
  • The health program will also be presented in a comprehensive manner, linking it to high school subjects, in sessions dedicated to seniors called "High School Tutorials" in order to target the knowledge acquired in high school that needs to be consolidated to provide a solid foundation for PASS or LAS.
