At the end of this week:

  • The high school students will learn how the Reform for Entry into Health Studies works. This will help them navigate the system and choose their program with confidence and with a better understanding of what lies ahead. The PASS and LAS programs will hold no secrets for them!
  • They will also benefit from the academic and moral support services offered by the Tutoring Program within the faculty and will thus be able to take advantage of them free of charge. Note that the Tutoring Centers support PASS students as well as LAS !
  • High school high school teachers, following “Teacher Time”, will be better able to guide their students in choosing their specializations, as well as in selecting their educational paths.
  • A methodology session led by ATSM members is scheduled to help students prepare for entering higher education, as well as to discuss organization and study methods so that everything goes as smoothly as possible.
  • The parents will be better informed and more at ease knowing that their child can take their first steps in higher education, particularly when it comes to health-related studies. A conference, the “Parent Workshop”, bringing together parents of students who have successfully entered health studies and parents of high school students, is scheduled for the end of the week.
  • The health program for PASS and LAS will also be presented in a comprehensive manner, linking it to high school subjects, during sessions dedicated to seniors called “High School Tutorials” to focus on high school knowledge that needs to be reinforced in order to start with a solid foundation in PASS or LAS.
