Pep's Days: four events dedicated to the well-being of first-year students

Pep Days are events organized at the beginning of the second semester and designed entirely for the well-being of first-year students. This year, they will be held on Tuesday, February 3 and 10, as well as Thursday, February 5 and 12, during the students' lunch breaks.

At this key moment in the year, often marked by fatigue, stress, and apprehension about first-semester results, these breaks aim to offer PASS and LAS students opportunities for discussion and relaxation. They allow them to take a breather, get together, talk with tutors, and feel accompanied and supported during this particular period.

Pep's Days are designed to promote social interaction and mental and physical well-being. Many student associations from the faculty participate in the event each year by hosting a variety of workshops. Their presence allows them to offer free activities and introduce first-year students to the rich fabric of student associations.

Among the most popular formats are opportunities for interaction, such as board games or lunch breaks, which provide a chance to chat with tutors. Other workshops are also available, such as stress management and cardiac coherence sessions led by professional sophrologists, as well as group sports activities organized by the faculty's sports association (ASMM).

One workshop that is eagerly awaited every year is the massage workshop run by volunteer physical therapy students. It is a perfect example of the spirit of Pep's Days: mutual aid, solidarity, and kindness between departments and students.

Through the diversity of its workshops, the welcoming atmosphere it creates, and the connections it fosters, the Pep's Days event is fully in line with the approach of supporting first-year students. It reminds us that this difficult year is not only about academic work, but also about well-being, mutual support, and sharing.
