Dean's Office

The Dean's Office is decorated in the Second Empire/Napoleon III style. It was decorated by Dean Bouisson during his tenure as dean (1868–1879).

Dean Bouisson bequeathed his mahogany desk to the Faculty, along with his library of 6,000 books covering a wide range of subjects—medicine, poetry, literature, philosophy, botany….

The Dean uses it several days a week, which is why it is not open to visitors.
