Office of the Dean

The Dean's Office features a Second Empire/Napoleon III style. It was decorated by Dean Bouisson during his tenure (1868–1879).

Dean Bouisson bequeathed his mahogany desk to the Faculty, along with his library of 6,000 books covering a wide range of subjects—medicine, poetry, literature, philosophy, botany, and more.

The Dean uses it several days a week, which is why it is not open to visitors.
