An exceptional woman or an exceptional journey—which shapes the other?

On March 8, 2024, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montpellier and the President of the association “Femmes Cheffes d’Entreprise de l’Hérault” are joining forces to celebrate International Women’s Day. This special event will highlight the inspiring stories of women with extraordinary backgrounds.

Under the theme “Woman or Path of Exceptionalism: Which Shapes the Other?”, a talk led by Gwenaëlle Guerlavais, content writer and editorial consultant, will highlight the fascinating stories of exceptional women, followed by readings.

On the agenda for this evening:

Sandrine Bignoli, a saddle-making artisan and founder of Atelier Sellerie Générale, as well as President of the Hérault delegation of the FCE, will share her experience in developing new markets to counter the seasonal nature of her core business.

The evening will conclude with a cocktail reception, accompanied by a musical performance by the OSEM (Montpellier Student Symphony Orchestra).

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the anatomy lecture hall of the Historic Building at the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine.
