A few weeks after our APNs (Advanced Practice Nurses), it is now the turn of our medical students to experience their graduation ceremony.

A ceremony traditionally held at the Jardin des Plantes

Traditionally held at the Jardin des Plantes on the third weekend of September, this ceremony is an opportunity for the friends and families of our students to (re)discover the faculty through a private tour of the premises accompanied by our teachers, before applauding our new graduates!

A rite of passage to postgraduate medical studies

The students attending this ceremony are completing their first two cycles of study (six years). They are now entering their third cycle and will become interns in one of the medical/surgical specialties, either in Montpellier or in other cities.

We wish them all the best for the future of their careers! Congratulations to everyone!

Students from other programs

You are a student in midwifery, paramedical studies (speech therapy, orthoptics), or a master's program. Here are the guidelines for your internships.

Internships in the 4th and 5th years will continue as planned. Instructions will be sent directly to students by email regarding their assignments.

If your internship is suspended: #StayHome

In any case, regardless of your field of study, if your internship is temporarily or permanently suspended, we ask that you follow government guidelines and #StayHome.

Staying home will help support the work of our healthcare workers by limiting the number of infections, and therefore the number of patients in hospital wards. We are counting on your support to limit the consequences of this epidemic. Protect yourself and your loved ones, stay at home, adopt protective measures, respect social distancing rules, and only go out when necessary.

You can also join the civic reserve to participate in the collective effort:

Finally, the Faculty will be there for you throughout this period: providing important information, social connections, activity suggestions, and even help with your revision. Don't forget to follow us on social media: @FacultemedMPL on Twitter and @FacMedecineMtpNîmes on Facebook!
