Abstract

"JAM" (Joueurs et Artistes de Médecine) is a music and arts association open to medical and midwifery students at the Nîmes School of Medicine.
This is a club that offers students the opportunity to play music at the university, regardless of their musical skill level. Members have the chance to perform at our concerts throughout the year, such as those for Pink October, Movember, galas, and the Fête de la Musique. They also have the opportunity to participate in workshops and musical sessions, or simply come by to play and enjoy a friendly get-together with fellow musicians!
This year, JAM is launching an artistic project to broaden its horizons. The program includes numerous workshops on DJing, painting, and pottery, as well as philosophy cafés focused on self-care and roundtable discussions on environmental health!
All members are free to choose how much time they want to invest in the JAM; you can come play in the rehearsal room or participate in all concerts and artistic events. Our goal is to enable students—no matter how demanding their studies may be—to engage in discussion, share ideas, and express themselves in various ways.
