Overview

Abstract

We are a team of eight fourth-year speech-language pathology students, and our goal is to build on the work of previous teams and launch new initiatives.

We have several projects in the works for this year, starting with an international initiative in partnership with an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This facility cares for children and adolescents with multiple disabilities; our role is to send them supplies to improve their daily lives, as support for people with disabilities is still limited in Vietnam.

At the local level, the previous team was able to launch initiatives in partnership with a Mother-Child Care Center at a shelter in Montpellier, which we hope to continue this year. Workshops on language development were organized to address a need for information. Other local projects will surely emerge this year—stay tuned 😉
