COVID-19: January 2021 curfew provisions

, ,

Due to the epidemic context, the government has placed the entire French population under curfew. All residents must be home by 6pm from Saturday, January 16, 2021. Find below the consequences of the curfew on the Faculty's opening hours.

Opening the premises

Faculty premises in Montpellier (historic site and Arnaud de Villeneuve campus) and Nîmes will be closed at 6pm. Faculty occupants must leave the premises by 5.30pm.

The Jardin des Plantes also closes at 5.30pm.

Impact on BUs

  • The BU Historique Médecine centre-ville remains open at its usual times
  • BU Médecine UPM changes its opening hours and closes at 5:30 p.m.
  • BU Médecine Nîmes changes its opening hours and closes at 5:30 p.m.

You must reserve a slot at all BUs:

  • ⚠️ Access to the BU is restricted to the loan/return of documents and materials, and to individual on-site work. Access to group work rooms is temporarily suspended;
  • ⚠️ access is by appointment only: users must therefore reserve a loan/return slot or a workstation, either via Affluences or by e-mail, depending on the BU concerned.

How examinations and in-class practical work work work

Exams and practical work scheduled in person will be maintained. Your school will contact you by e-mail 📩 with information on these special cases. If these approach or exceed 6pm, students must carry with them a derogation certificate for personal travel (tick reason 1), their student card, and the course timetable visible on the ENT, to be presented in the event of an examination.

We would like to remind everyone of the importance of respecting barrier measures to limit the spread of the virus. Masks must be worn on all Faculty premises.
