The work rooms that were closed until now will reopen for students in the Bâtiment Historique.
Faculty management has decided to reopen the work rooms and the Bonaventure Laurens room. Only students enrolled in the 6th year of Medicine will have access.

Due to the epidemic context, the government has placed the entire French population under curfew. All residents must be home by 6pm from Saturday, January 16, 2021. Find below the consequences of the curfew on the Faculty's opening hours.

Opening the premises

Faculty premises in Montpellier (historic site and Arnaud de Villeneuve campus) and Nîmes will be closed at 6pm. Faculty occupants must leave the premises by 5.30pm.

The Jardin des Plantes also closes at 5.30pm.

  • BU Médecine UPM changes its opening hours and closes at 5:30 p.m.
  • BU Médecine Nîmes changes its opening hours and closes at 5:30 p.m.

You must reserve a slot at all BUs:

  • ⚠️ access is by appointment only: users must therefore reserve a loan/return slot or a workstation, either via Affluences or by e-mail, depending on the BU concerned.

How examinations and in-class practical work work work

Exams and practical work scheduled in person will be maintained. Your school will contact you by e-mail 📩 with information on these special cases. If these approach or exceed 6pm, students must carry with them a derogation certificate for personal travel (tick reason 1), their student card, and the course timetable visible on the ENT, to be presented in the event of an examination.

We would like to remind everyone of the importance of respecting barrier measures to limit the spread of the virus. Masks must be worn on all Faculty premises.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and all the administrative and teaching teams of our establishment send you their best wishes for 2021. To mark the occasion, watch our Dean Michel Mondain's video greetings.

"It's been an intense year for everyone: between the first-year reforms, the Faculty's 800th anniversary celebrations and the health crisis we've been experiencing since last March. These somewhat delicate situations remind us of the importance of the values of collective commitment. But more importantly, they force us to return to what's essential: Humanity."

"Solidarity for all, solidarity between generations".

"This year, more than ever, the Human takes an important place in everyday life, whether on a professional or personal level. 2021 will be a year of post-health crisis reconstruction for students, teachers and staff."

"For this new year, the key word is solidarity."

"Take care of yourself, let's take care of each other".

And finally, Mesdames Herrada, Mengual, Messrs Lumbroso, Matecki, Messner, Mary and Doladille wish you a happy new year 2021.
